1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Stacks application and website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Stacks is a self-custody Bitcoin wallet application. Stacks does not hold, manage, or have access to your private keys or digital assets. You are solely responsible for the security and management of your private keys and recovery phrases.

3. Self-Custody Disclaimer

Stacks is a non-custodial wallet. This means:

  • You are the sole owner and controller of your private keys.
  • Stacks cannot recover lost private keys or recovery phrases.
  • Stacks cannot reverse, cancel, or refund transactions.
  • You bear full responsibility for safeguarding your credentials.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use digital asset services in your jurisdiction to use Stacks.

5. Third-Party Services

Stacks may integrate with third-party services for the purchase and sale of Bitcoin. These transactions are facilitated by independent affiliate partners and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Stacks is not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party providers.

6. Risk Disclosure

Digital assets are highly volatile and carry significant risk. The value of Bitcoin can fluctuate dramatically. You should not use Stacks with funds you cannot afford to lose. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stacks and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or digital assets arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
